Fitness and Gym Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract is between the Employer, a fitness and gym facility offering exercise equipment, group classes, personal training, and wellness programs to members, and the Employee. The gym employs personal trainers, class instructors, reception staff, and maintenance technicians to deliver a safe, motivating fitness environment.

Employment is permanent from the Start Date under applicable employment law. This contract forms the complete agreement.

Fitness industry work involves supervising members using potentially dangerous equipment, delivering high-energy group classes, providing exercise programming that must account for members' health conditions, and maintaining facility cleanliness and equipment safety standards. The Employee holds the relevant fitness qualifications and first aid certification.

Probation lasts three months. For trainers and instructors, the Employer evaluates exercise programming quality, class delivery and member engagement, pre-exercise screening compliance, and ability to modify exercises for different fitness levels and health conditions. For reception staff, assessment covers membership sales conversion, CRM proficiency, and customer service quality.

Statutory notice applies during probation. A review at six weeks covers member retention rates attributable to the Employee, class attendance figures, personal training session utilization, and adherence to gym floor supervision protocols.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension may apply if the Employee is completing an advanced personal training certification, group exercise qualification, or first aid renewal that has not yet concluded.
