Donut Shop Employment Contract Generator

This contract governs the employment relationship between the Employer, a donut shop producing fresh donuts, pastries, and specialty baked goods from its production and retail premises, and the Employee. The shop combines a production bakery with a customer-facing retail counter, requiring staff skilled in frying, glazing, decorating, and point-of-sale service.

The Employee is hired permanently from the Start Date. All terms operate under the employment laws of the jurisdiction where the donut shop is registered. This agreement replaces any prior offer documents or verbal commitments.

Donut production involves working with hot oil fryers reaching 190 degrees Celsius, sugar-based glazes, and perishable dairy fillings. The Employee acknowledges the physical demands and safety requirements inherent in these processes.

A three-month probation period starts on the Employee's first day. For production staff, the Employer assesses frying technique, dough proofing timing, glaze application consistency, and food safety compliance around hot oil handling. For counter staff, evaluation covers product knowledge across the full range, order accuracy, and cash handling proficiency.

Statutory notice applies during probation. The Employer will hold a review within six weeks to discuss the Employee's batch consistency, ability to execute custom decoration orders, waste percentages on unsold product, and teamwork during early morning production runs.

Successful probation leads to permanent confirmation. Extension may occur if the Employee needs additional supervised frying hours or has not yet completed the shop's allergen management training.
