Tire Shop Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract is between the Employer, a tire shop providing tire fitting, balancing, alignment, puncture repair, and seasonal changeover services, and the Employee. The shop serves walk-in retail customers and fleet accounts, employing fitters, alignment technicians, and counter sales staff capable of advising on tire specifications and safety standards.

Employment is permanent from the Start Date, governed by applicable employment legislation. This contract constitutes the entire agreement.

Tire shop work involves lifting heavy tires and wheels, operating mounting machines, balancers, and alignment racks, working with high-pressure inflation equipment, and identifying tire wear patterns that may indicate suspension or steering faults. The Employee accepts these physical and technical demands.

Probation runs for three months. Assessment covers the Employee's fitting speed and accuracy, ability to read tire sidewall markings and match specifications, wheel balancing precision, and customer advisory skills including explaining alignment readings and recommending appropriate tire products.

Statutory notice applies during probation. A review at six weeks addresses the Employee's throughput (vehicles completed per shift), damage-free alloy wheel handling, torque wrench discipline, and compliance with TPMS reset procedures for sensor-equipped vehicles.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension is available if the Employee requires further training on four-wheel alignment equipment, run-flat tire fitting, or commercial vehicle tire servicing.
