Sandwich Shop Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract is made between the Employer, a sandwich shop providing freshly made sandwiches, wraps, salads, and hot paninis from its retail premises, and the Employee. The shop operates a quick-service model targeting the weekday lunch trade and morning commuter traffic, requiring staff who can assemble orders rapidly while maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.

Employment begins on a permanent basis from the Start Date. The agreement is governed by employment legislation in the Employer's jurisdiction and constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. Prior discussions or informal arrangements do not form part of this contract.

The Employee accepts that sandwich shop work involves early morning preparation of fresh fillings, standing for extended periods, operating slicers and panini presses, and managing the lunchtime rush where throughput is critical to the business's daily revenue.

Probation lasts three months from the Start Date. The Employer assesses the Employee's sandwich assembly speed, knowledge of the full menu including daily specials, allergen labelling accuracy on pre-made items, and ability to maintain a clean, organized preparation area during the high-pressure lunch window.

Termination during probation requires only statutory notice. A formal review after six weeks covers customer queue wait times, portion control consistency, upselling skills for drinks and sides, and the Employee's compliance with food date labelling requirements.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension is possible if the Employee has not yet been evaluated during a peak trading week or requires further training on catering-size order preparation for corporate lunch deliveries.
