Healthcare Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract is between the Employer, a healthcare provider operating clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or care services, and the Employee. The organization may run a clinic, care home, dental practice, physiotherapy centre, or other healthcare facility, employing clinicians, nurses, care workers, therapists, and administrative staff who deliver patient-facing and support services under regulatory oversight.

Employment is permanent from the Start Date, governed by the employment laws and healthcare regulations of the applicable jurisdiction. This contract constitutes the complete agreement. The Employee's role is subject to professional registration requirements, enhanced background checks, and ongoing fitness-to-practice standards.

Healthcare work involves direct patient contact, handling sensitive medical information, administering or supporting treatments, and operating in an environment where errors can have serious consequences. The Employee commits to maintaining their professional registration and adhering to clinical governance frameworks.

A three-month probation applies. The Employer assesses the Employee's clinical competence or care delivery quality, adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols, documentation accuracy in patient records, and professional conduct in line with the relevant regulatory body's code of practice.

Statutory notice applies during probation. A review at six weeks covers the Employee's integration with the clinical team, patient feedback, competency in using the facility's electronic health records system, and compliance with mandatory training in safeguarding, manual handling, and basic life support.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension may apply if the Employee is completing a preceptorship, specialty training module, or regulatory body portfolio that extends beyond the initial three months.
