Pest Control Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract is between the Employer, a pest control company providing inspection, treatment, and prevention services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties, and the Employee. The business handles rodent, insect, bird, and wildlife management using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques, chemical treatments, and exclusion methods.

The Employee is engaged permanently from the Start Date under applicable employment law. This contract represents the full terms of the engagement.

Pest control work involves entering confined spaces (crawl spaces, roof voids, drains), handling regulated pesticides and biocides, encountering vermin in unsanitary environments, and visiting client premises at short notice to address infestations. The Employee acknowledges these conditions and maintains all required pesticide handling certifications.

A three-month probationary period applies. The Employer evaluates the Employee's pest identification accuracy, selection of appropriate treatment methods, compliance with pesticide application regulations, customer communication (particularly when explaining treatment plans and safety precautions), and record-keeping standards for regulatory reporting.

Either party may terminate during probation with statutory notice. A review at six weeks covers the Employee's ability to conduct a thorough property survey, correctly identify entry points, apply treatments within label guidelines, and manage ongoing service contracts with repeat clients.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension may be offered if the Employee is still completing a BPCA or equivalent pest management qualification or requires further supervised experience with fumigation or bird proofing work.
