Pizza Restaurant Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract binds the Employer, a pizza restaurant operating dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services from its commercial kitchen and dining premises, and the Employee. The restaurant employs pizza chefs, line cooks, delivery drivers, and front-of-house staff, each requiring specific skills suited to high-volume food production and customer service.

The Employee is engaged on a permanent contract from the Start Date specified in Schedule 1. The agreement operates within the employment law framework of the jurisdiction where the restaurant is registered and licensed for food service. It supersedes all previous offers or informal terms.

Pizza restaurant operations involve working near wood-fired or deck ovens reaching temperatures above 400 degrees Celsius, handling dough in large volumes, and maintaining rapid order turnaround during peak evening and weekend service. The Employee accepts these conditions as fundamental to the role.

The Employee begins a three-month probationary period on the Start Date. For kitchen roles, the Employer assesses dough stretching technique, topping portioning accuracy, oven timing and rotation skills, and compliance with food hygiene requirements. For front-of-house and delivery positions, evaluation covers order accuracy, customer communication, and safe driving or cycling practices.

Statutory notice applies during probation. A formal review will take place within six weeks, addressing the Employee's speed and consistency during a busy Friday or Saturday evening service, teamwork within the kitchen brigade, and adherence to waste reduction targets.

Permanent employment is confirmed after satisfactory probation. Extension is available if the Employee has not yet demonstrated proficiency on all oven types or completed the Employer's delivery safety training module.
