Tree Service Employment Contract Generator

This Employment Contract is entered into between the Employer, a tree service company providing tree surgery, removal, pruning, stump grinding, and arboricultural consultancy, and the Employee. The business operates across residential, commercial, and municipal properties, requiring certified arborists, climbers, and ground crew who can work safely at height and operate chainsaw and chipper equipment.

Employment is permanent from the Start Date, governed by the employment legislation of the relevant jurisdiction. This document is the complete statement of employment terms.

Tree work is classified as high-risk. It involves chainsaw operation, aerial climbing with ropes and harnesses, working near overhead power lines, and processing heavy timber in variable weather conditions. The Employee acknowledges these hazards and commits to maintaining all required certifications and personal protective equipment standards.

Probation lasts three months. For climbers, the Employer assesses aerial proficiency, rigging technique for controlled limb removal, chainsaw handling in the canopy, and emergency rescue competency. Ground crew are evaluated on chipper feeding safety, traffic management around work zones, and timber processing speed.

Statutory notice applies during probation. A review within six weeks covers the Employee's safety record, production output per job, teamwork on complex removal operations, and their ability to identify tree diseases and structural defects that affect the work plan.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension is available if the Employee is completing a climbing certification, first aid at work qualification, or NPTC chainsaw assessment that has not yet concluded.
