Janitorial Service Employment Contract Generator

This contract establishes the employment relationship between the Employer, a janitorial service company providing building maintenance, commercial cleaning, and facility care to offices, schools, medical facilities, and industrial premises, and the Employee. The business holds cleaning contracts with multiple organizations and deploys cleaning teams on scheduled shifts, often outside standard business hours.

The Employee is engaged permanently from the Start Date under applicable employment law. This document is the entire agreement between the parties and replaces all prior discussions or offers.

Janitorial work involves operating floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and pressure washing equipment, handling chemical cleaning products under COSHH regulations, and working in client facilities during evenings, nights, or weekends when buildings are unoccupied. The Employee accepts these working conditions.

A three-month probation period applies. The Employer assesses the Employee's cleaning quality across different facility types, compliance with job sheets and task checklists, ability to operate industrial cleaning machinery safely, and punctuality across multiple site assignments in a single shift.

Statutory notice applies during probation. A review after six weeks evaluates the Employee's output per hour against the company's benchmark rates, chemical handling competence, interaction with client security or facilities teams, and reliability during unsupervised night shifts.

Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension may be offered if the Employee requires further training on specialized tasks such as medical facility disinfection, cleanroom protocols, or industrial kitchen deep cleaning.
