Term, Probation, and Probation Review
Three months of probation apply from the Start Date. The Employer will evaluate the Employee's paint correction ability across single-stage and multi-stage polishing, ceramic coating application technique, interior steam cleaning and leather treatment proficiency, and their care when handling prestige and performance vehicles worth significant sums.
Either party may end employment during probation on statutory notice. A formal review at six weeks covers machine polishing control, decontamination wash procedure adherence, attention to detail on panel edges and trim, and the Employee's ability to complete jobs within the estimated time without compromising finish quality.
Permanent employment follows successful probation. Extension of up to three months may apply where the Employee requires further development in advanced techniques such as wet sanding, paint protection film installation, or ceramic coating layering on speciality finishes.
Duties, Role, and Exclusivity
The Employee carries out vehicle washing, paint correction, coating application, interior cleaning, and quality inspections as assigned. Handling customer vehicles with due care and following the Employer's detailing protocols are mandatory. Competing detailing work requires written permission.
Remuneration, Benefits, and Pay
Salary is paid monthly in arrears at the gross rate specified in the offer letter. Performance bonuses may be available based on customer satisfaction scores and upsell revenue on additional services. The Employer provides all detailing products and equipment.
Working Time, Location, and Hours
Standard hours follow the studio's booking schedule, with weekend availability expected during peak periods. The primary workplace is the detailing studio, though mobile detailing assignments at client premises or dealership locations may be required.
