All work is carried out by trained detailing technicians using professional-grade products and equipment. We follow manufacturer guidelines for every coating and treatment product we apply. Results depend on vehicle condition, paint history, and environmental factors, and we do not guarantee that every defect can be fully corrected.
Before commencing work, we conduct a visual inspection of your vehicle and document any existing damage including scratches, dents, stone chips, and interior wear. You will be asked to acknowledge this pre-service condition report. Any damage present before our work begins is excluded from any claim against us.
These terms may be updated periodically. The latest version is always available on our website and at our service counter. Booking a service after an update means you accept the current terms.
Scope of Services
Our service packages range from exterior wash and wax through to multi-stage paint correction with ceramic coating application. Interior services include deep cleaning, leather conditioning, fabric shampooing, odour removal, and dashboard restoration. Each package is described on our website and service menu with a clear scope of what is included.
Ceramic coatings carry specific curing requirements. You must keep your vehicle dry and sheltered for the period specified in your aftercare sheet. Failure to follow aftercare instructions will void the coating warranty. Coating longevity estimates are based on normal driving conditions and proper maintenance.
We offer a mobile detailing service within our stated coverage area. Mobile appointments are subject to weather conditions and suitable workspace access at your location. We reserve the right to reschedule mobile bookings if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for the booked service.
Vehicle collection and return can be arranged for an additional fee within our local area. While your vehicle is in our care, it is stored in a secure facility and covered by our premises insurance. Our liability for any incident during storage is governed by the limitation clause below.
Acceptable Use
You must remove all personal valuables from your vehicle before dropping it off. We accept no responsibility for personal items left inside. Vehicles must be presented in a condition that allows safe working, free from hazardous materials, biological waste, or pest infestations.
Intellectual Property
Before-and-after photographs, video content, branding, service names, and all marketing materials published by Obsidian Auto Detail are our exclusive intellectual property. We may photograph your vehicle for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing before the service begins.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnities
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the price paid for the relevant service package. We are not liable for pre-existing paint defects, mechanical issues discovered during the detailing process, or damage resulting from undisclosed aftermarket modifications.
