Auto Repair Shop Terms & Conditions Generator

Bringing your vehicle to our shop for repair, maintenance, or inspection means you accept these terms. They apply to every service we perform, from a basic oil change to a full engine rebuild.

We provide automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and inspection services for passenger vehicles, light trucks, and commercial vehicles. Our technicians are trained and certified across major vehicle brands. We use manufacturer-approved parts where specified and quality aftermarket components where appropriate.

A repair order is generated for every vehicle we service, documenting the agreed scope, estimated cost, and expected completion time. These general terms supplement each repair order. If there is a conflict, the repair order prevails for that specific job.

We carry garage liability insurance, and all work comes with a warranty on parts and labor as specified on your repair order. Warranty terms vary by repair type and are communicated before you authorize work.

Our services include engine diagnostics and repair, brake systems, suspension and steering, electrical systems, air conditioning, exhaust, transmission service, timing belts, fluid changes, filter replacements, and pre-purchase vehicle inspections. We also perform state or local safety and emissions inspections where required.

Before starting work, we provide a written estimate covering the expected labor hours, parts required, and total estimated cost. If additional issues are discovered during repair, we will contact you for authorization before proceeding with any work beyond the original estimate. We do not perform unauthorized repairs.

Parts sourcing follows your preference: OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts, quality aftermarket alternatives, or customer-supplied parts. When you supply your own parts, our warranty covers labor only, not the supplied components. We are not responsible for failures caused by customer-supplied parts.

Completed vehicles must be collected within five business days of completion notification. Storage fees may apply to vehicles left beyond this period. We retain a mechanic's lien on vehicles for which payment remains outstanding, as permitted by applicable law.
